OOTD: ASOS Curve, Office Edition
My wonderful mom got me an ASOS gift card for my birthday, and of course I used it to attack the giant 4th of July sale they had going on.  I ordered 10 things!
The day my ASOS package came, I also had a new box from Gwynnie Bee, with an ASOS peplum top inside.  I paired the two for a fun but professional look (especially when I got inside our overly-ACed office and put a blazer on).
This outfit was a bit outside of my comfort zone - pants are something of a rarity for me, and I was kind of “eh” about this shirt when I first put it on.  Belting definitely helped it, but the barrage of compliments I got throughout the day (friends, coworkers, waitresses, random people on the street) had me looking at it in a new light by the time I got home.  The outside perspective was a good reminder that sometimes we are just too critical of ourselves.
[This top is also part of my Curated Work-to-Weekend Collection on Gwynnie Bee - check the full collection out and tell me what you think!]
Net polka dot peplum top: ASOS Curve (via Gwynnie Bee)
