Love this shot!
OOTD: Winter Orange
Cold weather doesn’t require dark colors. With navy tights, this dress brightened up a grey day at the office.

Okay this is just cool.
OOTD: Thanksgiving Suede
This year, my husband and I had our first Thanksgiving at home, and made our very first turkey! We shared a serious sense of accomplishment when it came out pretty darn good :)
We made it a Friendsgiving and spent the rest of the night after dinner hanging out and watching 90’s music videos. It was a great night, but I never had a chance to take a picture of my outfit, so I threw it on again the next morning for this pic. Excuse the smudge - it wasn’t there when I actually wore it.
This Karen Kane dress from Gwynnie Bee was soft and comfortable, perfect for hosting good friends who weren’t worried about fanciness. I loved the warm suede accents on the dress, and added cognac booties (albeit briefly - they came off after dinner - the joys of being at home!) to amp up the autumn palette.

Suede ankle booties: ASOS
OOTD: Navy and Black
This dress was great for work and to go to a live art event at Neuehouse afterwards. (If you ever get a chance to see Shantell Martin work, take it! She is fantastic.)

Love this look!
OOTD: At Ease
The military jacket is a new style for me, and I wasn’t sure about this one when I first put it on - it seemed a tad boxy. Then I realized that the drawstring at the waist was functional, and voila! Perfect for a chill day of brunch and gift shopping on the LES.

Dark wash skinny jeans: Forever 21+
Cognac boots: Raine by JustFab

Finally have another post up on my design blog. New outfit :)
This is fantastic.
OOTD: Pixelated Floral
Fall’s dark floral trend is one of my favorites, and I always love a good twist on an idea. Pixelating the oversized floral print gave this classic cut just a bit of edge while keeping it office-appropriate.
Dress: London Times (via Gwynnie Bee)
Flats: Margiela for H&M
